Darshan & Aarti Timings
Complete seasonal schedule for darshan, all aartis, temple conduct guidelines and dress code for a respectful visit to Khatu Dham.
Darshan Timings
॥ मंदिर खुलने एवं बंद होने का समय ॥The temple opens twice daily — morning and evening. Timings differ between Winter (Sheetkal) and Summer (Grishmakal) seasons.
On every Ekadashi (11th day of each lunar fortnight), the temple remains open for 24 hours continuously — throughout the entire day and night. This is the most auspicious day to visit Baba Shyam. Huge crowds are expected — plan to arrive very early if visiting on Ekadashi.
Midday Closure: The temple closes for a few hours between approximately 1:30 PM and 4:30 PM in both seasons. This period is observed for the Rajbhog (midday food offering) and the deity's afternoon rest. Darshan resumes from 4:30 PM in the evening session.
On festival days such as Phalguna Mela, Janmashtami, and Holi, the temple may remain open for extended or continuous hours. Queues can stretch for several hours. Devotees are advised to check the latest schedule before visiting and to arrive early in the morning.
Timings are subject to change at the discretion of Shri Shyam Mandir Committee. This information is provided for general guidance only. For the most accurate and up-to-date schedule, please contact the temple office directly before your visit.
Aarti Schedule

All footwear must be removed at the designated areas before entering the temple premises. Footwear storage facilities are available near all entrance points.

Please maintain orderly queues and do not attempt to cut in. Temple volunteers and staff are present to assist with crowd management on busy days.
Do not litter inside the temple complex. Use designated dustbins. Flowers and offerings should only be placed at designated spots.
